EL EXITO WILL SELL ON ITS STORES THE BRAND AEROPOSTALE
The American company of clothes and apparel, Aeropostale, will be entering into the Colombian market through the stores of the Antioquian Grupo Exito.
The history of this American company starts in 1987 in New York, and since then the company has been growing and now has 900 stores in the United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Peru and the Arab Emirates.
The line of clothes is defined for the direct competitors of the company in the international markets like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister Co., American Eagle Outfitters, which are companies that design clothes for young consumers.
With this alliance the Grupo Exito continues with its policy of offering very good clothes at great prices, and allowing their customers to shop international brands or national brands that count with the collaboration of recognized designers like Silvia Tcherassi who designed a line of clothes for the brand Arkitec, which is owned by Grupo Exito.
The estimations are that the Grupo Exito sold in the 2011 near 12 million garments in their stores that are located all over the country.
According to executives of Grupo Exito, the products of the brand Aeropostale that will be selling are jeans, T-Shirts, pants, pj’s and cargos, with an estimated starting price of 10.000 COP$, which represents around 6 dollars.
