JAIME ALBERTO VILLEGAS, IS THE NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS OF BANCOLOMBIA

According to a press release by Grupo Bancolombia the new Vice President of Operations is Mr. Jaime Alberto Villegas, he has experience in Colombia, Singapore, UAE and Peru.

The Board of Directors of Bancolombia appointed as Vice President of Operations Jaime Alberto Gutierrez Villegas, an industrial engineer and specialist in finance from the University of the Andes, who will begin his duties as of July 23 this year.

His objectives are to adapt the business model of Bancolombia to the new structure of the customer-oriented organization. Jaime Villegas will begin his duties as a legal representative and may be possessed by the Finance Superintendence of Colombia.

Jaime Villegas has extensive international experience in banking and finance sectors with a clear expertise in the design and implementation of processes leading to global finance, risk and systems. He has served since 2007, and to date, and Finance Systems Manager at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. He also worked as Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank for the Middle East and Vice President of Operations at Standard Chartered Bank in Colombia, among other charges.
