PASSPORT APPOINTMENTS WILL BE ASSIGNED BY PHONE

The Passport Office Antioquia decided that starting today; Thursday 31 of January, temporarily will suspend the allocation of internet dating to get the document by phone again.

The contingency measure is based on the need to optimize the service that collapsed in the holiday season and also the difficulty expressed by some users to access the link PASSPORTS website of the Government of Antioquia.

Quotations for Thursday 31 were allocated through the website of the Interior, for Friday will be through telephone lines and 01 8000 4 19 000 or 409 9000. The hours will be Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

"The assignment of telephone appointment has the advantage that people can choose the day and time, and if they cannot attend can cancel the appointment in advance and leave the space for someone else who needs to get the document," said Silvia Elena Arango, Director of the Passport Office of Antioquia.
